Dan Shake is a DJ and producer who brings serious music knowledge with a light touch. His genre-hopping sets—spanning anything from speed garage to samba—are grounded in groove, driven by instinct, and always delivered with a sense of fun.

His journey began with a now well-known moment: handing a demo to Moodymann, who welcomed him into the Mahogani Music fold as its first non-Detroit signing. It was an early co-sign that spoke volumes, and Dan’s path since has felt both natural and distinctive—marked by consistency, taste, and a feel for the floor.

Now a familiar face on some of the most respected line-ups in electronic music, he thrives on variety—moving between sweaty basements, sunrise slots and everything in between, while always keeping energy locked to dancers surrounding him.
