Feasting experiences FAQs
All your questions for feasting experiences answered.
- Nuts: All menus are designed nut-free (unless specified otherwise), but please be aware food is prepared in kitchens where nuts, gluten, and other allergens may be present.
- Dietaries: feasting experiences can only facilitate dietary requirements as outlined on the individual feasting experience/chef's booking page. Please ensure you read these before booking and, if you book, advise of any allergies on arrival.
- Where alternative dishes are available, the same dish will be used for vegan and dairy-free.
- While we aim to keep all dietary alternatives as close to the original menu dish as possible, in some circumstances, where a direct substitute is not possible, there may be changes to the entire dish.
- Available alternative menu options must always be requested in advance via the dietaries form. Do not forget this if booking for a group, we are in a field so alternatives are not readily available.
- Banquets, unless specified otherwise on the chef's page, there is a vegan alternative for all our larger banquet restaurants (long table and woodland), other than the Long Table Banquets Sunday Roast, which has a vegetarian alternative only. If you require the alternative menu, you must request this in advance via the dietaries form for all relevant people within your party.
- Banquets are served sharing style, so if you have a dietary requirement, your dish will likely be served individually plated instead.
- The Chef's Table cannot accommodate any dietary requirements other than those outlined on the individual chef's page, due to the style of the experience.
Babies and little ones can sit on parents' laps at all restaurants except for The Chef's Table. If they're in a pram please ask on arrival to be seated at the end of a table.
Unless specified otherwise on the chef's booking page, we don't have a dedicated children's menu, so if you’re planning to have little ones eat with you they’ll need to be booked as an additional seat.
This shouldn’t be a problem, as long as you all arrive together. However, the earlier you get there the easier it will be to seat a larger group together. You may be split across two tables next to each other, depending on the capacity of each table, but as long as you arrive together, we’ll do all we can to make sure you’re seated together.
Unless you are notified in advance via email, experiences will go ahead, come rain or shine!
For the forest feast, we even have a beautiful woodland canopy to ensure you can still enjoy this amazing experience in the heart of the Wychwood forest.
Unless your experience is cancelled by the Event, refunds will not be given if you choose not to attend because of inclement weather.
